Limpopo, South Africa (September 30, 2019) - Lethebo Rabalago, is a self-proclaimed resurrection pastor of age 25 and also state himself to be the prophet of Limpopo. In 2018, February, he came face to face to social media outrage after he ended up spraying Doom, an insect killer, on people’s skin and faces in order to harm them. Lastly, he was noted to be guilty and fined a lump sum rate of R21‚000. His lawyers stated to the court that the fake pastor will pay off his fine in an installment of R3000 per month.

Later, after going through the statement made by The Mount Zion General Assembly leader, it was found out that the fake prophet was actually sentenced to jail for a period of 1 year or was given the chance to choose a fine of R6‚000. This fine was mainly for breaching pest controlling operations as stated by the Stock and Agricultural Remedies Act 36 of 1947. He was further sentenced for a period of 3 years or a lump sum fine of R30,000 for assaulting with harmful intentions. Later, half of the fine was suspended.

Upon confrontation, Rabalago clearly stated that he used Doom, fire and petrol for glorifying god in a prayer to heal congregates. While further investigated to clarify his intentions, he stated, “I always believed in god for everything. So, I thought that I can use anything as a healing remedy. Everything from petrol to doom, all belongs to God.”

Limpopo High Court later ordered the pastor from using pesticides on people and he was also asked to pay the costs of application.
