September 18, 2020 - Warren W. C. Freeman is all set to take Halloween with a storm! The author of ‘Imaginations Abyss’ and ‘Rolling Free: A story told through poetry’ is releasing a new book called ‘Trick or Treat.’ This book is Freeman’s first solo book effort, although Karen Freeman did contribute to the first half of the book.
Inspired by the Halloween display of the early 2000s, Freeman decided to write this book. He was also impressed by ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and ‘Never ending story.’
The author describes the book as a ‘light boo.’ It is a book written for young teens and children, so it is a book that is more in line with what one would see in Disney land. It is a fun Halloween book that is filled with monsters. The book was described as being more ‘in the spirit with Wizard of Oz and Neverending Story with a touch of Narnia.’
However, what is this book about that has everyone’s excitement stirred up? The book is about some children and two adults who are celebrating Halloween in a suburb and are taken from there to a cursed land. Now, to get back to where they were and lift the curse, they will have to take the land. From where would they get the power to take over a land? It all lies in their costumes. They each have the power associated with their Halloween costumes.
About Warren W. C. Freeman
Warren W. C. Freeman was born on June 21, 1959, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to Joanne and Fred Freeman. He lived in Annawan, Illinois, until the age of 7, after which he was sent to live with his Aunt and Uncle in Iowa City until he was 18 years of age. He graduated in 1978 from Iowa City High School. He enrolled under the University of Iowa’s “Crosstown Players” under the guidance of Janie Yates Glandorf. He had his own Children’s Drama Group that he called The Entertainers. He spent another five years in the USA, and since 1984, he has lived in the western part of the United States. He also served and worked for the movie industry for over 25 years. Unfortunately, his wife passed away early on March 21, 2011. He had been married to her for thirteen years.
