FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Port Elizabeth, South Africa (September 30, 2019) - Pastor Timothy Omotoso is a well-known resurrection pastor working in Nigeria. Few months back in February, he was facing some charges associated with sexual abuse and the alleged accomplices then appeared in the Port Elizabeth High Court the following Monday. But, the final decision on whether people are talking about a real pastor or a sex addict was then postponed because of a pending rule from the Constitutional Court.

The judge at that time was Mandela Makaula who was given the project to deal with this fake pastor and the allegations made against his name. Mandela allowed the court to postpone the case just to wait for information regarding constitutional court decision on that said matter.

At this time, Nceba Ntelwa, the State Advocate informed the court that he was compiling response papers for the constitutional court. So, the matter as requested has been postponed.

Apart from the main fake prophet, pastor Omotoso, the case was a big one as it involved Zukiswa Sitho and Lusanda Sulani the co-accused. In total, they are all facing total 97 charges against their names till date, which ranged from rape to even human trafficking. These are some of the solid charges made against the pastors and they are sure to serve long terms in jail.

Omotoso remained in custody right from the time he was arrested in April 2017 from the Port Elizabeth airport. On the other hand, Sulani and Sitho were actually granted a bail after getting arrested in the year 2017, month of December.
