She has been an avid practitioner of graphic designing for more than the last 25 years in her native land of Malta as well in overseas locations. This has helped her to fine tune her artistic sensibilities and achieve greater efficiency in handling of colors and lines. Her ability to create artistically and colorfully rich tile pattern has made her extremely successful in her field of work. 

Apart from living in Malta, Stephanie Borg has lived in Italy, Florida in USA, the Bahamas and Sultanate of Oman. This has exposed her to diverse cultural backgrounds which have also left a distinct mark on her work. Her tile art shows great influence from Oman as well as her life in Malta. Each and every tile pattern is created by Stephanie Borg and her meticulous effort in making the perfect ink drawings really makes these tiles beautiful. The artwork as depicted in these tiles shows the life of people in Malta and is deeply influenced by Maltese traditions.
