Unlike before, where male makeup artists were mostly restricted to the film industry, now we get to see more and more male artists around us. There surely has been a certain level of comfort that has set in all thanks to YouTube. It’s not uncommon at all to see male YouTube makeup artists anymore. Jeffree Star, James Charles - they all have made a name for themselves through their expertise in makeup.

Jonn Poker attributes his love for makeup to them and puts his unique spin to all his makeup videos. But what really sets him apart is the fact that he dares to be his honest and real self in all his videos. He believes that as an influencer, he should talk about sexuality, gender identity, and the LGBTQ+ community since these are pressing issues that need to be addressed. Through his YouTube videos, he talks about his personal life experience about coming out to his parents, living alone, and how he comfortably deals with the fact that he is an androgynous man. 

While makeup is his strong point which he does beautifully, he makes every effort to inspire people, share positivity, and help those who are struggling to come out. His social channels already have over ten thousand followers and he ensures that he shares the right message about sexuality.

He is of Italian descent and has been in Canada for a while now where he studied fashion business. His motto in life is “confidence is power, power is success” and he completely embodies this concept through his social channels.
