Toronto, ON (May 12, 2020) - Jonn Poker is one of the hottest new stars in the world of beauty and makeup. Talented and funny, this young man motivates young people by encouraging them to be their own selves. He is one of the fastest growing makeup influencers in terms of popularity. 

Italian-Canadian in origin, this YouTube personality comes from Sicily in Italy. A student of fashion business, he began to create makeup tutorial videos and started editing videos from a very early age – which came in handy when he started creating his own YouTube videos later. It was in 2009, when he was only 14 that he took his stage name Jonn Poker – which is how he is known today among fans. His choice of name comes from the chartbuster ‘Poker Face’ of Lady Gaga. John is how ‘Giovanni’, his Italian name, is translated as into English. 

In 2015, he moved to North America to make it big in music, modeling and acting. He started his YouTube channel there. 

Makeup artist Poker’s videos reflect on his idea of Self Love, as well as his love and liking for the LGBTQ community. In January 2019, he set up his channel and by the end of the year he managed to get thousands of fans. In November 2019, on his birthday, his channel reached the target of 10K fans. His follower count is growing every day, and people seem to love the star for his crazy makeup regimen, cross dressing and feminine looks as well as his message of loving and accepting the self. 

Poker admits that he is inspired by famous artists like Jeffree Star, James Charles and Nikita Dragun. He practices makeup daily, and also comes out with reviews on makeup products as well as video tutorials. Makeup is something that many people love today, and it is also something that Poker himself is passionate about. His love for cosmetic products began just a few months before he decided to launch his own channel. 

Although makeup is about presenting the self in a different and better way, Poker always encourages his followers to love and stay true to their actual selves.
