As a member of Boyz II Men, the best-selling R&B group of all-time, Shawn Stockman is known for the international smash hits “Motownphilly," "End Of The Road,” "I'll Make Love To You,” and "One Sweet Day".

Today, he is releasing Feelin Lil Som’n, the first single off of his upcoming solo album. It is a roseate, hood-sophisticated, declaration of love that the singer describes as “thoughtful and the perfect introduction for what I hope people will want to dive a bit deeper into with me.”

The song is not Stockman's first foray outside of the group. In 1996, he had a solo hit with "Visions of Sunset" from the Mr. Holland's Opus soundtrack. Last year, he provided backing vocals on the Foo Fighters album, Concrete and Gold.

He's an accomplished lyricist, composer, arranger, and musician who has collaborated with Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson and Johnny Gill and starred as a judge on the popular NBC-TV competition series, The Sing Off.  He also continues to tour regularly with Boyz II Men.

“I love performing with my guys! I will do that till I can’t anymore."

He believes they will do another record, eventually. "Timing is everything,” he acknowledges.

For 'Feelin Lil Som’n', Shawn says he drew inspiration from his past hits and the love of his life, his wife Sharonda Jones.

Feelin Lil Som’n is being distributed by SRG Records via its partnerships with The SRG/ILS Group, The Universal Music Group, and eOne Entertainment. Visit Shawn's website and follow him on Instagram and Facebook.
