FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Beijing, China (August 14, 2020) – Many countries run through the Maritime Silk Road. Indeed, this road was developed by China but many countries also pass through this road. To help businesses looking to establish business relationships with China knowing the countries in this route might help with deciding on their business collaboration. Understanding this, Xinhua Silk Road Information Service provides complete details about the countries along this road.

The 21st Century Maritime Silk Road aims at boosting the China-ASEAN Maritime cooperation. Even, it aims at creating associations in a community of a shared future. As this initiative from the Chinese government calls for joint efforts across the region and even beyond, many countries pass through this road.

The China-Maldives Friendship Bridge was developed in the Maldives. This bridge holds the pride of being the first cross-sea bridge that was built by a Chinese Company in the Maldives. This bridge connects the Maldivian Capital City of Male with the nearby Hulhule Island. The bridge was inaugurated on the 30th of August 2018 and it came into operation from the 7th of September 2018.

This bridge is a memorable project of the China and Maldives in building together the 21st century Maritime Silk Road. Not just Maldives, 23 countries and regions pass-through this Maritime Silk Road.
